TFI Group's other ventures are designed to reduce environmental impact and ensure long-term resource efficiency:
Industrial Parks: The Hiowe Industrial Park (FEZ) integrates sustainability into its design, featuring a solar power plant with a BESS, a dedicated waste management system, and piped water supplied from a treatment plant. A dedicated corridor into the global supply chain by a 20km rail system to Tema Harbour, largest seaport in West Africa. The design of the economic and strategic location generates a lower carbon footprint for tenants engaged in technology manufacturing for domestic and export markets.
Strategic Minerals Value Addition: AfricaVolt focuses on the refining and downstream procession of Ghana’s critical minerals. By processing spodumene into lithium hydroxide and battery cathodes, the company supports Ghana's Minerals Policy of adding value to resources prior to export. Africavolt is a catalyst to developing an ecosystem for Electric Vehicle (EV) and BESS in the Sub Saharan African context.
Transforming Urban Transportation:: AfriMoto manufacters ultra-efficient electric vehicles, with a focus on 3-wheel designs that offer fun, versatility, and sustainability. The flagship products, the FUV and MUV, are all-electric vehicles with a 102-mile range per charge, 75 MPH top speed, instant torque, and up to 25 cubic feet of storage. These vehicles bridge the gap between motorcycles and cars, ideal for urban environments.
